There are four new colors being introduced to the 2009 G8 line up and a few 2008 colors are being retired. Specifically, the new colors are Maverick Silver Metallic (17U), Sport Red Metallic (26U), Stryker Blue Metallic (39U), and Pacific Slate Metallic (64U). Ignition Orange Metallic (77U), Stealth Blue Metallic (25U) will not be on the 2009 G8 and Magnetic Gray Metallic (18U) will likely drop out mid model year 2009.

Unfortunately, up until now, the only color chips that have been provided by Pontiac have been extremely small and for the most part useless if you are hoping to tag your 2009 G8 and want to see what one of the new colors looks like.

Assuming the same color names apply to the same color codes in the U.S. and Canada, we present to you larger, computer rendered photos of the 2009 Pontiac G8 colors. Not 100% accurate, but definitely better than the above.
